Archery Course Series
YOUTH INTRODUCTION TO ARCHERY – 16 & UNDER
The Introduction to Archery course is designed for first-time or entry-level shooters interested in learning the fundamentals of archery. Students will gain hands-on experience with vertical bows, including longbows, recurves, and compounds. Through guided instruction and live range practice, participants will develop a strong foundation in safety, equipment handling, and shooting technique. All necessary gear can be rented if students do not have their own.
Course Fee: $35.00 plus tax/processing fee

• Understand range rules and safety guidelines.
• Understand the primary components of a bow.
• Including the difference between Longbow, recurve bow, compound, and crossbows.
• Perform and understand Basic shooting fundamentals
• On their own learn to:
• Proper nocking of an arrow
• Proper grip
• Proper stance
• Proper draw cycle technique
• Proper anchor point and draw length
• Proper aiming technique
• Proper release and follow through.
• Live shooting on the range for about 45 minutes
• Options for next level courses
Prerequisites & Requirements
• Personal vertical bow (longbow, recurve, and compounds all allowed).
• Properly sized and fletched arrows for their bow
• Arm guard, release or tab.
• For all equipment, if the student does not have their own rentals are available prior to class.

LEARN TO BOW HUNT
This course provides aspiring hunters with the foundational knowledge and hands-on skills needed for a successful bowhunting experience. Participants will learn bow maintenance, accessory options, and setup configurations, as well as proper shot placement and shooting techniques from multiple angles. Instruction also covers treestand and blind use, game tracking, and basic field dressing.
Course Fee: $100.00 plus tax/processing fee

COURSE CANCELATION POLICY
Classes may be purchased without scheduling class dates. All prepaid classes will remain on the customer’s accounts for 3 years before expiring. After expiration, no refunds will be provided.
Cancellation or rescheduling of a course reservation MUST occur at least TWO WEEKS BEFORE the reserved course date for a refund of the course fee. If notification is received less than two weeks before the course reservation, the full course fee is forfeited regardless of reason.

Freedom Outfitters attempts to never cancel a course but situations may arise with instructor schedules beyond our control. Any cancelations initiated by Freedom Outfitters will entitle the customer to a full refund or provide reschedule options.
