It proudly displays the specific aircraft markings number “72”, and the name “’Ina’ Macon Belle” paying tribute to the famous ace that flew this fighter fearlessly into harm’s way! The US Army Air Forces roundel is authentically recreated using Cerakote Navy Blue and Cerakote Snow White. Further fighter-specific details include a bold Cerakote “Red Tails” marking near the rear, and distinctive Cerakote USMC Red and Cerakote Yellow squadron identification banding around the muzzle. Contrasting with the slide, the frame has a complementary Armor Black for controls and accents. The custom engraved hard wood grips feature an inset winged star emblem, echoing the Army Air Forces insignia.
