A SOPMOD-style, more pronounced cheekweld supports a consistent shooting position, while a snag-free exterior helps reduce sling and gear hang-ups. The modular VBOST sling tab allows the sling to be secured against the stock when the carbine is not in use, including vehicle-based carry. Ambidextrous sling mounting options include QD swivel sockets, and the simple modular construction uses six parts and one screw.
